Island Fishing Game is featured in Helmut Space, Leipzig as a one day solo show at the end of December, 2020, due to COVID-19.  The work is in connection with the AA 360 Summer School, in a collaborative project called Translocation, through funded scholarship provided by Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. The work is a two stage performance live-streaming event featuring, first, fishing with an analogue recording machine wrapped in a plastic bag at the North Eastern Corner of Taiwan. Second, diving underwater into the coastal water of the Orchid Island, an offshore island from Taiwan, where nuclear-waste storage facility was built in secret by the Government in 1982. Island Fishing Game reflects on the nature of remote location, and the connectivity offered by broadcasting, live-streaming platform with our smart phones. In 2022, a one-off, seperate event was hosted again.
